In addition to covers for non-fiction publications, I also design covers for novels. This is special and fun work; I read the manuscript and discuss the content of the book with publisher and author. In this case, I spoke extensively with Daniël Rovers. The result is a cover that is both substantive and attractive. The collage of the composite portrait on the front continues into the other elements on the cover. The quirky sans serif font (U8) fits in wonderfully.
